BIOGRAPHY

I am a PhD student studying Organizational Behavior at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to joining Foster, I earned an MSc in Human Resources and Organizations (emphasis in Organizational Behavior) from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of California San Diego (UCSD). 

My research interests focus on exploring how societal and cultural norms affect people’s behavior at work, team processes and dynamics in multicultural and multinational work teams, and how multicultural experiences affect individuals’ psychology and work outcomes. Another stream of my work explores the downstream effects of resource scarcity, taking both a macro perspective (e.g., how tight norms developed in resource-scarce societies affect people) and a micro perspective (e.g., how a scarcity mindset affects individuals’ work). 

I have also developed two R packages that aim to streamline data cleaning and analyses using R, pscyModel, and psycCleaning. Both packages are currently distributed through CRAN with the development version accessible on my GitHub.
